These are two of several
places on the property that
even despite the encroaching
Junipers, are moist and green
until mid-summer. Now that the
Junipers have been brought
under control, these areas
should should be even more
moist next year.

In each of them, I plan to dig a
retaining pond. On several of
them, I plan on planting some
fruit trees and berry bushes.
The fruit trees will consist of
apple tree and crab apple
trees. The berry bushes will be
goose berries and black
berries. All of the plants will
need to be fenced off and
protected until they mature.
I have not sat down and sketched out the details for these projects. They will
not happen for a couple years.
They will consist of hours digging with an excavator, and putting up a fence.
And putting up a fence may not be needed if I can afford to stop the cattle
grazining.
